missingWrote a review on 10 Decclean motelstrange odordated decor
This is an older roadside motel that wasvery comfy and tidy for a night's stay.
Upon arrival, the room had a strange odor, giving off a smell reminiscent of stale smoke. The heater couldn't be adjusted. The decor felt very dated.

Friendly staff, and fabulous food!!!
Fine base for 1 night. Well-kept unit with pull out couch. Paid $ 108. All in all stunning and incredible setting adjacent to Haines Junction around the Inn, library and a very exclusive market in Haines Juction, Alaska.

I had cheap, extremely spacious room with pull out couch, microwave, fridge. The location of the hotel was good - within walking distance of Kathleen Lake. Was set in 5 minutes' walk to the downtown, and the workers were friendly and nice.

The desserts at the restaurant next door were absolute showstoppers! The mountain view from my comfy queen room was a sight to behold. The staff at check-in were super nice too.
The key was left in the door, and the only lighting was from two dim table lamps. It was roasting hot with no way to cool off, and the sheets looked like they had seen better days-hardly a good night's sleep awaited me.

Had a comfy stay with a fine mountain view right outside my dog-friendly room. Credit to the nice check-in staff! Only downside was a bit of cleanliness to handle upon arrival, but the cozy vibe made up for it.

I would have loved to enjoy my stay if the room didn't smell like stale cigarettes and if the lock wasn't a puzzle to solve with two staff members. I was expecting a complimentary gesture, but all I received was a roasty hot room with dirty sheets. Absolutely not worth the price paid.

comfortable stay but need to improve communication
The hotel is pet friendly with no extra charge, a huge plus for pet owners. The bathroom in the Queen Room appeared clean. I enjoyed a mountain view that enhanced my stay experience dramatically.

Glacier view inn was a decent spot for an overnight stay. The queen room was clean, comfy, and had hot water. It's conveniently located by a nice chinese/western restaurant that opens for breakfast at 10:00. The mountain view added a touch of beauty to the experience.
i wish the heating system worked better.
